Los Perdedores, Only Rock!

They started with a mere youthful whim in their adolescence, with the desire of playing the music they liked, even without knowing how to play well their instruments. Namely, with all the authentic Punk attitude, they were building their own style which they describe simply as ´plain´ Rock.

Los Perdedores is a band originally from Xalapa that was born in 2009 with the purpose of generating an original sound, dynamic and easy to hear; without much pretension, they had already experienced being in touch with the public and scenaries as The Losers Of Rock and Roll.

With a garage rock as their banner, both their songs and live shows, they transmit an essence of freedom, friendship and overall, fun; factors that continue to keep them as a fresh band and original over time.
´The lyrics of the band is 100 per cent vicential that portrays the adventures and misfortunes of the citizen, of the ´Xalapeño (a person from Xalapa) ´; they don´t have a literal meaning, but we try to give references through stories that many people can get identified with´. This is how they define their lyrics, which, in general, are not elaborated at all, quite the opposite.

After more than ten years of experience and having as references to several bands of the so-called happy punk of the early 2000s, Los Perdedores have shared stage with various groups of the national independent scene, such as Little Jesus, Los Blenders, Joliette, Mint Field, LNG, El Shirota, among many others.

The actual alineation is formed by Chucho Curtis as bassist, Gio Pozos as lead guitarist, Benja Albuerne as drummer and Milton Muratalla as second guitarist.

After keeping their first record production paused due to the pandemic, Los Perdedores resumed recording what will be their first record production, which they hope to have ready by the end of 2022. They also hope to record an EP for the next year.

Los Perdedores, a band that little by little gains more followers, is our musical recommendation of the week. Listen to their music through the frecuencies of Radio Más.
